Destiny awaits Me as a DM I've been running various tabletop RPGs on and off for about the last 25 years starting with DnD 3.0. My style of DMing to tailor the game around the players and provide what is most fun for everyone at the table. I tend towards homebrew world and a cinematic style of gameplay that favors RP but I also love combat. I generally dislike murder hoboing but if that's what the table wants that's what they'll get. The player actions will get to shape the world around them for good or bad. Rule Disputes For any rule disputes, anything that can’t be confirmed in 2 minutes, there will be a roll off. Higher roll wins the rule for that session. The disputed rules will be looked at and confirmed by DM between sessions. Player Expectations Players are expected to at least know where to find the basic information on their character sheets. AC, HP, Damage, spell save DC Players are encouraged to give feedback at the end of sessions about anything they liked or anything they didn’t like. If a player isn’t having fun with their character build, class or even character storyline feel free to bring it up and we can change it between sessions or even make a new characters. DM expectations The DM will never attempt to “Win the game’ it’s not a contest. However if you piss of the bartender that happens to be a retired level 20 Oathbreaker Paladin. That’s totally on you. You will however be aware that’s a bad idea before you do it. The DM will not make your character decisions. The players are the final arbiters of their own characters choices and actions. The DM will allow the players to create any class, race combo they want. The DM will make it work with the story. Go ahead and play whatever you think would be fun. You want to put a holy paladin in an assassin’s guild. We’ll make it work This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $20 per session via Startplaying.games.
