[LFG][Pathfinder 2e][D&D 5e][Saturday 5pm CET] Kingmaker Scenario

Greetings, I've been a GM for the better part of ten years now and I am looking for a new group/players for my latest project. I have largely worked with D&D and FATE throughout the years and I have been wanting to expand a bit, so I am dabbling now in Pathfinder 2nd Edition. I have a background in european medieval history and write as a hobby. I am largely looking for experienced players, if possible, who are looking for a seasoned GM. I live in Europe, so this does affect when I am available, which is mainly the afternoon of the weekend. The project I am currently working is the Kingmaker scenario. Specifically NOT the module itself, but rather the premise of it. That being a group of characters traveling to a wild, unclaimed region on the map and building their own community there. The scenario is split into two part, which are the strategic base-building mechanics of slowly civilizing the region, gaining ressources, building new houses and shaping the slowly growing village/town/kingdom, and the roleplaying of the characters doing just that. There will also be an overarching plot, but the focus very much will be on the players ability to customize their own community. I am looking for at least three players interested in trying this out. I am largely a relaxed guy, open to LGBTQ+ and prefer a regular schedule. Experience would be appreciated, but I am also willing to help new players get into the hobby. Hello there, I'm interested in this, depending on the exact time. I have been playing PF2e about 2 years now, and been playing TTRPGs about 5 years. I enjoy both rp and combat, as well as intrigue, puzzles and some exploration. I would be available on Thursday afternoons CEST, but in terms of the weekend, I'm usually available to start from around 11 to 14 (as a starting time, will be free until about 17). If any of this works for you, hit me up with any other questions you might have.

This sounds interesting. I played for about 1.5 years of 5e, half a year DMing Pathfinder 2e, 3 years on Pathfinder 1e, 1 year of FATE, Call of Cthulhu one-shot and 3 years of 3ed D&D. Some of it I DMed and some played. The stated time roughly works for me, I'm not sure yet. If this sounds good, PM me.

I hadn't thought of that initially. My first thought was to first see if there is any interest and then organize a Session 0 later, with a time that suits everyone, rather than jump in right away with a listing. Weekend I can be flexible, if need be. Sunday, with the time you mentioned, is doable for me. Depends on if everyone else can live with it, as well. Stane Hound has mentioned in his post, that he might not be able to do afternoons. I will send you a link, so we can further discuss this on discord.

I'd be very interested as well. I've got no experience with PF2E unfortunately, but I am an experienced TTRPG player overall. Been playing TTRPs for over 20 years now, starting from a humble home brewed Wing Commander RPG to Shadowrun 4E, Legend of the Five Rings, King Arthur Pendragon, Star Wars FFG, Stars Without Number, Warhammer 40K FFG, 5E and Starfinder plus probably even a few I can't even remember anymore. Longest time had been 5E with a group I found here on Roll20 actually, playing a good 7.5 to 8 years with that group, before RL hit our DM and forced us to stop and drift apart. Since then I had a bit of a dry streak TTRPG wise with quite a few big changes in my life, but recently been trying to get back into the hobby and really wanting to give PF2E a try, as I feel it has a lot more depth than 5E to sink one's teeth in and realize great concepts with. For example, a character concept I always wanted to try was a dwarven battlesmith - both a warrior and a master blacksmith, but integrating such a character in most conventional campaigns is difficult plus the price you pay in power level in D&D for next to no real gain due to the rather rudimentary crafting system never made it worthwhile. In a Kingmaker-esque campaign with strategic decisions and building a civilization of some kind, a master blacksmith could work fantastically. Time wise I'm flexible on weekends with the exception of having to keep my Saturday mornings from 8 AM to 10 AM CEST free for the next couple of months. Being from Europe myself, the time difference for once isn't an issue at all.

I would love to give it a go(PF1 or PF2). But sadly saturday is not good :( Sunday would be best.

I'm interested. I've been playing PF2e for almost an year. Sunday would be the best for me, but I can also play on Saturday afternoons (GMT-3).
