"You're all adventures of various origins, brought together by the threads of fate to a town near the city of Water deep in the sowrd coast named Daggerford. Recently, the people of the town have reported various encounters with wolf-like creatures near the woods. A member of the faction you belong to has brought to your attention the need to act on this for various reasons. As you investigate this happenings, you'll find yourself brought into a land of darkness and despair, having to fight various creatures and discover, accompanied by your new allies, the mysteries around the Curse of Strahd in the land of Barovia" This premise is the catalyst for your introduction to a classic and amazing adventure regarded as one of the best for D&D 5e. This campaign focus heavily on roleplay and character's actions, with a dark tone and great combats mixed into it. The initial premise is not set in stone and everything can be talked through if you wish to approach your character or the setting and it's introduction in a different way. Remember this is a game where players have much more agency than in more common mediums. The games will be played weekly on Roll20 and we'll use a Discord server for voice chat and general communication and information. Each session will last 3 hours (with the exception of session zero) , with possibly a few more minutes depending on the rythm of the session. For character creation we'll use point buy and base equipment + extra gold an magic items, there will be a table with the specifics on the game's page on Roll20, as well with a detailed list of a few Homebrew rules I like use. In regards of classes, subclasses, races and backgrounds, nothing is banned and any officially published character option is allowed. I do not like to ban classes or races or builds since that means the player is invested in the game in one way or another and I'll always respect and appreciate that involvement and I like to honor it in my campaigns. But, anything can be talked through if you feel like something doesn't work or want to try something different. I wish to gather a group of at least 3 players to begin the campaign, starting with a session zero (which would be free) to talk about expectations, safety tools and characters. After that, we'll have a starting session which would would also be free so everyone see if they like the game. Every game afterwards will cost $10. We'll use Roll 20 and Discord for the sessions, character creation and any preparation outside of the sessions are free. If you're interested, there's slots at the same time on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Here are the listings for the games: Wednesday Listing , Thursday Listing , Friday Listing , Saturday Listing . This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $10 via PayPal per player per session. Session zero, preparations and first game are free. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
