LFG LISTING Are you a roleplay focused D&D 5e fan who would like to play around in Matthew Mercer's world of Exandria with a laid-back 'Rule of Cool' DM who prizes fun and creativity above much else, but who knows the rules where and when they count? Then this might be the game for you! Hi! I'm Aster (they/he/she/literally any pronouns are fine), and I'm a nonbinary Humanoid in their thirties. I've been a DM of D&D 5e games and other systems for nearly eight years now, and have been playing TTRPGs for at least fifteen years. I'm a moderately experienced Roll20 DM, (I have more experience with a rival VTT but have now changed to using Roll20 for the foreseeable,) with a penchant for 'Rule of Cool' and a deep love of roleplay heavy and sandbox style games. I like to use DnDBeyond where possible for character sheets but all other functions like maps, tokens, etc. will be done on the Roll20 interface. This game is not FCFS, you will need to apply and I will be picking my players. This is to ensure that we all get on and are all on the same page as each other. I vet my players to try and get rid of anyone who might cause trouble IC or OOC predominantly. Your ability/inability to pay, or your experience level, will never be a deciding factor on you gettin into the game or not. Please read the LFG Listing carefully, and please read all of it! It includes some guidelines and expectations of my plyers, as well as what you can expect from me. I will update my Pro sub here and Master sub on DnDBeyond before play begins and will have source sharing enabled. If you are a successful applicant, then I'll be in touch on or before the 10th of July 2023! If you are unsuccessful then you won't hear anything from me - this is so I can keep on top of messaging folk on the off chance I get a lot of applicants! This game encourages payment to the Game Master at a rate of £5 per player, per session, via PayPal or Ko-fi, though this is never expected and payment/nonpayment will never affect your place in the game.
