Spawning PC. HP restores to max on character sheet

Hi all. I am using: spawn default token mod, to spawn my party to a new page quick. it has worked before, but now when i spawn my PC the HP gets restored to MAX on the sheet, but not the tokens (i have it set in the rings to HP-AC-passive wisdom). am i doing something wrong? and how do i get it to not get max hp when i spawn a pc? hope it makes sense, my first language isn't english so please forgive me for spelling errors og grammar mistakes. Hi David M. Thanks that fixed the HP problem, but now i sets the max value in the two other rings to max and creating 3 rows on the token, it's not so much a problem but i just need the hp row to be showing, the other two row is just irritating

Ok, it sounds like you want something like this. Substitute charName in the five locations below and double check the bar numbers for your setup. The token will show up with the characters current hp/ac/passive_wisdom preserved. Only the hp will apply a max value so the token should only have token bar visible. !Spawn {{ --name|charName --offset|1,0 --bar1|@{charName|hp}/@{charName|hp|max} KeepLink --bar2|@{charName|ac} KeepLink --bar3|@{charName|passive_wisdom} KeepLink }}
Thanks for helping me so much- i did it like that but it still randomly pop up the two others like bars over the tokens, besides the rings… I might uninstall the script and macros and start over… maybe it’s just a fluke accident.

I don't think a reinstall is going to change anything. It's likely a setup issue. Do the default tokens for the PCs have a value in the Max field next to the AC and passive wisdom bars? If so, delete those, re-save the default token, and try again.
Nope, i can drag and drop the token, but when i spawn, this happens  it updates the max in the others

Ahh, ok I see. Either I never noticed that behavior before or something has changed on the backend. Regardless, I just tried the following and it seems to work. I added /"" to the bar2 and bar3 overrides, which explicitly writes a blank text string to the max values and prevents the token bar from showing. !Spawn {{ --name|charName --offset|1,0 --bar1|@{charName|hp}/@{charName|hp|max} KeepLink --bar2|@{charName|ac} /"" KeepLink --bar3|@{charName|passive_wisdom} /"" KeepLink }}

I tried what you did, but still random bars show up.  I looked in the sandbox and it showed me this. I have no idea what that means 😂 but the token did actually have the 3 bars above again, after spawning 2 times without
