Spell templates

The ability to place down circle or square templates defining a dimension (eg 20ft radius sphere) that can be moved and visible on the map to gauge spell effects similar to the ruler tool but with more permanence

Hi Dallas, just making sure you know you can already do this via images. I have a variety of spell templates in my game. You can set them up in two ways: 1) Group them in a folder in your art library and then set the dimensions on each image. Drag to the table when needed.  2) Set them up as Characters: drop the image on the table, set up the dimensions as desired, then update it to a Character as a Token.
There is also Weapon Arcs by The Scriptomancer, Aaron. You can make a "AoE" token for blasts and such or use it on a token for auras or cones like burning hands.

It would just be a very useful tool for non pro members to use without needing to import a bunch of tokens
@Gauss, ah, yes, thank you.

+1 Being able to draw circles, squares, lines and rectangles by defining their size would be very helpful. Right now we need to count grid squares while using the  Rectangle, Ellipse or Polygon tools, and we don't always want to use the grid on our maps. Also, drawing circles with the ellipse tool is cumbersome since you need to define the circle by drawing its bounding square, which is not always convenient; having the option to draw circles by defining the center and radius would be much easier.
