Hoard of the Dragon Queen is an adventure module for the 5th edition of the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. It is the first part of the Tyranny of Dragons storyline and followed by a second adventure, The Rise of Tiamat. Welcome! I am a veteran Dungeon Master with more than three decades of experience. I am looking for players who would like to learn to play or experienced players who want to have a good time with new friends. I am limiting the group to five players so that everyone has more time to interact. Each session will be about four hours. We will be using Roll20 for gameplay and Discord for voice chat. I like a good mix of role-playing, combat, exploration and character development. We will use tactical maps with dynamic lighting when appropriate. The exact day and time are flexible based on the availability of the entire group. This is a pay to play game. I love running games but there are only so many hours in a week. This is my alternative to picking up a second job for extra income. My campaign and play style may not be a good fit for every player so for the first session payment can wait until after the session.
