GM - I can no longer select tokens on the board.

As a GM, I am unable to click on or move any tokens I set up on the board at the map layer. This is what happened. I switched to GM layer, moved the tokens I wanted to the areas I wanted them in. Then moved them to the map layer. I moved the players on to the map layer in the same fashion.  I am now unable to interact with any of the tokens that I set on the map layer. The tokens I have on the GM layer can be moved, but when I go to move them, the entire map pans with the selected token for some reason.
I don't know what happened. I started to tinker with the tokens still in GM mode. I couldn't even *move them* in GM mode for some reason. So I figured I'd make duplicates of the tokens in GM mode to see if that would solve my issue. I made a copy, and pasted it to the board. Now ***everything*** works without issue. No idea what the problem was.
I think I know what I did. I put my player and monster tokens to the map layer thinking that's how you are to move them around. Looks like those objects need to be on the token layer.

Glad that you figured it out :) The map layer is strictly for the map, furniture, trees, etc.: things that won't be moving around unless the GM moves it. This is where I often move the tokens of dead monsters and NPCs so that they don't get in my way or obscure other tokens later. There are quite a few YouTube videos that show how to set up maps and tokens. my favorite is this series  by Crashgem. They're a little bit dated but still a good starting tutorial.
yeah, the layers can be confusing.. i wish that the new interface would have a quick on/off toggle button and that opacity slider again

The opacity slider has been moved to the top item on the toolbar (the one that looks like 3 lines).

It was an oversight when the new toolbar was launched. The opacity slider was missing for about two weeks.
