System: WIP homebrew system named Frames & Fate Plaform/Format: Discord for organising, R20 for games Time: Pickup oneshots as available; mostly UTC 17:00 or later Tone: The starting point is grounded, insofar as bipedal mechs can be, with all of human society being kinda screwed up. Lotta horrors of war and various diverse dystopias fighting over the scraps. A big part of the concept is the worlds 'story' advancing, so the tone and content will change over time, for better or worse. Requirements: A little tabletop experience would be nice, but I'd like to test a variety of playertypes. Over 18 is also preferred, nothing NSFW, just prefer running for adults where poss. Summary: I'm working on an entirely homebrew tabletop system to run mecha games in, fairly rules-lite for now, main system I'm taking cues from being FATE. Tone is relatively grounded, at least initially. Mechanics are intended to primarily follow rules of narrative flow and setup-payoff, keeping fairly rules-lite and fluid to keep things fast and fun. Mech and character customization is one of the main things I'm aiming to maximize. Setting is a post-post-apocalyptic earth, upended by colonial alien minerals, reclaimed over 100 years into colourful, warring, resource-starved fiefdoms all of whom field bipedal Frames in combat zones across the planet, contesting the Exoferrite that the planet runs on. A big part of my plan is to have the world evolve as campaigns go on; new technologies will be tested, iterated on, and deployed, changing what combat looks like as time passes; borders are designed to shift, nations will rise, fall, split apart and come together - the world is going to be specifically designed to change, and the impact players have will shift the currents of what that change looks like. Throw me a message if interested, organising will be done by Discord
