Tokens not updating visually and require window refresh

Some of my players have started encountering an issue a few months ago but it has recently grown worse and worse. Basically, they update their token bars (which are linked to their characters) and some people see the changes, others don't, and those who don't, well they have to refresh the webpage for the changes to register. The players who have experienced this use Firefox and Chrome, and both browsers seem to exhibit this issue.

Hi Boris,  This is a known issue, but there has been no way for a reliable reproduction to happen. I suggest filing a bug report with the Devs via the Help Center so that they can better track it.

I've also been experiencing this for a long time. It doesn't happen on every map, or when it does happen it's not consistent. Sometimes a map will display all the tokens correctly, other times it won't. Not all tokens are always affected; I'll have six players with tokens, and four will display properly while two won't. NPCs using the NPC character sheet are rarely affected (but sometimes are).  Sometimes deleting the token and dragging a new one from the journal fixes the issue, but not always.  I haven't been able to find any common denominator for the behavior.  I submitted a bug report ages ago, but can understand why the cause of this behavior is so hard to pin down. I have sent a report on the Help Center and the Devs are investigating my game... Here's to hoping they find something helpful!

Hi everyone,  After some testing with the support, I seem to have found a temporary solution (better than refreshing the browser window at least). If you manage to replicate it on your end, it could save you some troubles. Here goes: The issue seems to happen when a player loads a map for the first time on this browser since it was first open. Also, the issue occurs when a playable character the player is in control of is already on the map. In that case, if he tries to modify the bars, the bug will happen. We found the following fixes: Simply don't have playable character tokens already on a map and drop them in after your players have been sent to the map. If the issue occurs, rather than refreshing the browser, switching to another map and back to the one you want seems to do the trick. Support indicated that the issue may be linked to "Lazy Loading" which was introduced a while back. Let me know if the fixes work for your players.
I've tried both of the solutions that you mention, and they do usually work. Pre-placing player tokens on a map helps speed up play, especially when there are a lot of  (3+)   players and the map change is taking place mid-encounter, so I'd hate to have to stop doing that. These "Bugs" where introduced with their operation Lighting-bolt, to speed up loading times for everyone... To only load / update resources when needed...
