Hello! I’m looking for players for a free 5e game starting off in Waterdeep. I’ve been a DM since the 3.5 days. I’ve either played through or am familiar with all the published 5e modules and supplemental material, so there’s many different directions we can go once the party decides, and I’ll be at least half prepared. :) New players and veterans are all welcome. I would prefer players that aren't familiar with the forgotten realms setting and would like to explore it. I’m looking for flexibility in scheduling, with an emphasis on central time zone evenings. I’m available every other weekend, and about half of the weekday evenings until 11pm - Central Time - but Healthcare. I never work the same days, but I know my schedule well in advance. Campaign will be hybrid voice and play by post for downtime and solo activities. The emphasis will be on RP, character development, cooperative story development, and contributing to a group journal to record your adventures. I’d like players that want to put in the effort over time to create a great story more so than a hack and slash campaign. I’d like to shoot for a one night a week commitment once we get to know each other, but I’ll settle for bi-weekly for the right group.
