Uggh, the title has an error, that is what I get for cutting and pasting - the game is on Wednesdays. Lost in the mists, adrift in the swirling mists, you find yourselves in a land of gothic horror and dread. A land where the sun struggles to pierce through the oppressive fog and where the nights are filled with the howls of wolves and the whispers of restless spirits. A sense of unease hangs heavy. The very stones of this land seem to whisper warnings, their cold touch a chilling reminder of your mortality. Crows circle overhead, their beady eyes fixed upon you. Can you navigate these haunted lands and unravel the dark secrets that bind them. Villagers cower, whispering tales of the Count, Strahd von Zarovich, and his looming presence from Castle Ravenloft. The land is not a place you can simply leave, and the choices you make within this cursed land will shape not only your fate but the fate of Barovia itself. You brave the ancient crypts and haunted forests? Will you seek the help of the mysterious Vistani, or will you forge your path and dare confront the devil Strahd himself in his castle? The shadows of Barovia are filled with secrets, and the only sure thing is that you will never be the same again. Will the shadows of Barovia consume you, leaving you forever lost in its chilling embrace? Link: Barovian Lamentations LFG | Roll20: Online virtual tabletop About the Game: This is going to be the Curse of Strahd hardcover campaign with some additional content. Content Warning: Yeah, all of the normal CoS content warnings, misogyny, child endangerment, gaslighting, fantasy racism. I have reduced the amount of gratituitous misogyny, racism and child endangerment, but there is still some in there. Rules: We will be going pretty close to raw, but any (including legacy) WOTC content is available, and backgrounds without feats will grant you a choice of four feats (healer, toughness, magical adept or skilled). Less resource management than grognard or OSR games, but there will be some. About Me: I run a lot of RPGs, I earn money from it (but this game is no charge). I am a certified therapeutic gamemaster, and this game will not be therapeutic but I am still concerned with making sure that the game is a safe and comfortable space for you, but probably not your character. I want to make my games welcoming for everyone, including BIPOC and LGBTIA+ players, and I expect the same from my players. Interested players should be able to meet with me online about an hour before the game. We will use discord for audio, and players can be audio only.
