What's the best laptop for Roll20?

What are the key features and specifications to consider when choosing the best laptop for optimal performance on Roll20?

I think any laptop you could get today will be fine for roll20. The main thing that will affect performance is not dependent on your own hardware, but is the speed of your internet and the responsiveness of roll20's own servers. If your laptop has graphic acceleration (a graphic card, any graphic card at all), it will be better than not having one. But I don't think your own hardware will matter much - the cheapest laptops today are incredibly powerful for the tasks you want to do on roll20.

I agree with GiGs, the only thing I'd add is...screen size. The bigger the screen, the better the experience.

Oh yeah, that's a good point. I wouldn't normally consider it for a laptop, but if you're on roll20, you want the biggest screen you can get that is comnfortable for you. Not necessarily the highest resolution, but larger physical size.

Definitely spring for the largest screen you can afford :) If you have to have a laptop and can afford it, I'd seriously consider getting a large external monitor to plug in just for gaming. As long as you spend over $1000, almost anything would work fine! As others have said, screen size is probably what you want to consider most.
