Please read through this lovely overview written by Kristin: Hey folks! To keep this forum spinning out of control due to the sheer volume of suggestions that are coming in these days, I've put together some guidelines that should help prevent repeat threads and better direct user interest to your ideas. We'd be very appreciative if you take a minute to read this over. The guidelines are: 1. Avoid Splitting the Discussion 2. Keep it Specific - One Suggestion, One Thread 3. Voting and Discussion 1. Avoid Splitting the Discussion Please use the forum's search tool (up top of the main community page) before you make a new suggestion thread. Double check that a thread doesn't already exist for your particular idea. We want to avoid repeat suggestion threads if we can help it. This concentrates all discussion and votes pertaining to a specific idea to a single thread. If the same idea gets split up between multiple threads, it makes it harder for everyone to notice its existence and give valuable feedback. 2. Keep it Specific - One Suggestion, One Thread Please, try to avoid making threads that contain lists of unrelated suggestions. It makes it very hard to have a focused discussion on a single idea. It also makes it difficult to vote on individual items too. I'd recommend sticking with one suggestion per thread. That being said, if you have a couple of suggestions that are closely related, it's okay to bundle them up together in a single thread. Follow step 1 to make sure you aren't creating repeat threads and follow through with every idea you have (making new threads if needed). Write out a clear and thorough description of what you'd like to see. Give the thread a really specific title. This will grab the attention of the userbase and they'll add input and upvotes. speaking of which... 3. Voting and Discussion If you're just browsing through this forum and see a suggestion thread that tickles your brain, leave some constructive feedback (more than simply saying +1 is extra helpful). The more traffic a thread gets gives us a better indicator of what's of importance to all of you. Thank you everyone for giving this a read through! Additionally there are a few topics we've got enough information on for the time being, and are simply unable to act upon currently (due to either external or internal factors): PayPal or other non-credit card methods of payment. The addition of a "folder" sorting system. Changes to the site messaging notifications. The addition of any individual ruleset to our LFG system or character sheets (reminder: character sheets are community built!). Finally, it's appreciated if you stay neutral / civil in tone. Demands, exhaustive "pleas," and other tones in violation of our Code of Conduct do not belong here! Thanks for being interested enough in our program that you're concerned about our future development. It's appreciated.
