Hide player list before launching game

Is there a way to hide the players list at a specific table? Iam talking about the step before "launching game" and therefor entering the table.

Not that I know of. It would probably be considered unethical, since a person should know whom they might encounter in a game, in cases of incompatible acquaintances, harassment, etc. Is there a reason you want to hide the list? There might be other ways to accomplish what you are looking for.
Thats the thing: The players wont encounter each other. Iam doing some sort of experiment where the "players" are actually faction leaders in a warhammer fantasy setting and its more like a strategy games than a classic roleplay game - as prequel to a westmarches style campaign happening in the same area and getting influenced by the faction turns from the other group. Basically i want to accomplish that the faction leaders dont know who is playing at the table, so there cant be any communication outside of the game. But ok, apparently this wont work except asking friendly to not talk about it. :/
They're going to figure it out during play. If the player doesn't switch their "speaking as" option in chat to their character name, it defaults to the player name anyway. You dont understand, the faction leader players arent at the table at the same time. Its always a 1on1 between me and one leader. The only way the players actually know who is playing at the table is the player list before launching game... which is why I asked how to remove it. :)

Hi Bana,  The only way to do what you want to do is to use separate games, then manually replicate movements, actions, etc across the games. That is the only way to prevent folks from seeing each other.

You could ask each of them to temporarily change their Roll20 account name. It's not foolproof, but if they already know each other, it won't be immediately obvious. But no, there's no way to completely anonymize user names. The potential for abuse is too great.
Alternatively, they could leave the game and rejoin whenever it was their turn. Any characters they had access to will remain, and you can give them the rights to them back when it's their turn to play. The button to leave the game is in the game view (not inside the game), in faint gray under the name. A bit of a hassle, but it'd do what you're trying to do - clear the chat between sessions, and make no more than one player is listed as a player at any time, and it'll be as anonymous as you can get.
Thanks all for the replies and suggestions - i go with the good old trust in adult humans for the time. :)
