This is definitely attractive. According to Mr. Money Mustache , apparently the IRS estimates the total cost of driving at $0.51 per mile, which puts my own commuting at $102 a week! (I get to work from home 1 day a week, so only 4 days instead of 5.) Actual costs vary based on the car you drive and how you treat it, so my costs are probably closer to $70-80 per week, but commuting is still more expensive than most people consider. It's good to hear that whoever you hire is intended to be in for the long haul.
