DND 5e, original sheet, can't level up

A friend of mine has been running into an issue where when she changes her character's level, it doesn't actually change anything for her. Like, changing her bard to level 7 did not give her a level 4 spell slot. This is going on throughout all of her games. Not a single character will level up properly. Everyone else in the games can level up properly. Character sheets were all made before the 2024 sheet was even announced. She did not use the charactermancer, she has done this completely by hand. The only difference between her and the rest of us is that she uses the character vault.

Hi Mallow,  Please provide a screenshot of the player's spells sheet and their settings page, especially the bottom of the settings.  Also, do you mean the Character Vault or the Roll20 Characters feature? They are different features. 

Is this with the D&D 5E (2014) sheet? (Used to be called D&D 5E by Roll a 20) There have been some issues with the character vault lately. You may want to have her post a help request thru the help center.
