2 Experienced Players LF In-Depth Group

Hello everyone! I represent myself and one other who are both experienced roleplayers (15+ years each) and we are looking for a long term campaign to join. Our long term group had job shifts and a wonderful marriage break us apart, but we had been in the same gaming group together for 8 years. We both miss our gaming fix! We have availability Friday, Sat or Sunday and are in the EST time zone. The group we are looking for is one that feels like or wishes to become a friend group. Where people aren't afraid to get immersed into the story and really get into character. With people that love roleplay and all the wonderful, silly shenanigans but with enough seriousness to create an epic story together with heartfelt, scary, gritty moments too.  We are versed in 3.5, 5e, Savage Worlds and a few other systems and can learn others.  I'm hoping someone has a few spots open because I can't wait to play! Hi Celia & +1. I'm starting up a weekly Princes of Apocalypse campaign this Saturday at 7:30pm EST. We do have a bit of a silly group that I will just let RP themselves into hilarious situations that they then have to figure a way out of. Obviously things won't be completely open world running the campaign book but don't let that scare you away, the book is just the guide to save prep time. I'm very adamant about letting players build characters that are connected to the world and can have meaningful interactions rather than focus solely on "Time for dungeon crawl #4". Greetings Celia, I'm new to Roll20 but not to TTRPGs. Been running games since the 80's.  My table tends to be heavy story, heavy roleplay, but not without action, and dungeon crawling.  I prefer to run long campaigns that span years.  My longest single campaign ran 12 years and we only quit due to people moving away and the main characters retiring.  Even in that game though, the players had multiple characters running so we could have kept going, then I moved away from the group. I'm putting together a new campaign, and would love to have serious role players join me. I would love to run ADnD2e or 3.5e, but I can do 5e if that is preferred.
