[LFG][5e][Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat][MST][LGBT] Looking for new long term game

Hi all! I am a 24 year old looking for a game with people roughly the same age as me, and to meet weekly, day of which can be any from Wednesday-Saturday, in the evening after work. I would prefer a new game, rather than hoping into an established one, but I am fine with doing so. I would also prefer the game to be homebrew, as I tend to enjoy them more, though mostly I really want to try playing as this class that I found: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DL5kMRGfcZN50oQ_mxXt2pVBV33MAmOo/view I am happy for adjustments to be made to it, of course, so long as the spirit and idea of it is maintained. Also the longer the game is planned on being played the better, and ties ins to backstory and personal quests (or quests that relate to character goals and such) would be very welcome. I know it is a lot to ask, but I kind of want to play in a game like the one I run myself: long, with lots of emphasis on the characters and challenge. To that end a 70/30 split of rp to combat would be ideal, though I don't mind the reverse depending on circumstances, that's more of an over the whole campaign average. And I suppose I should actually give some info about myself, right? I am 24, and also genderfluid. I have run 4 games, one with AD&D (via my dad, who grew up playing and still does play it), a 5e one that lasted 3 years, an on going Eberron game, and another 5e one, a crime themed campaign, that I sadly had to cancel due to work obligations. I've played in several games as well, and generally know what I am doing, but I will always yield to DM rulings.
I have something. May or may not be a good fit See you yourself... 1) Text Game. This is usually the main deal-breaker for a lot of folk, so getting it out of the way first. I run my games by text, not voice/video. 2) Alternate Saturdays at 11:00 AM Pacific Time (So I think Noon Mountain?). Due to my schedule this game runs every two weeks. I used to run five games weekly, but I'm six months post-stroke and still recovering; I've been forced to cut back, so my two Saturday and Sunday games were dialed back to every other week. Next game, Feb 1. 3) Home brew game, but set in the published setting of Tal'Dorei, from Critical Role. If you're familiar, we're about 13 years past the Chroma Conclave, with enough of our own history that most of the later events in Critical Role's games won't happen, or at least not the same way. I don't expect extensive knowledge of the world, but there are a few details characters can't not know, so I expect players to use google to get up to speed on if they don't know. For ex, everyone knows about the Chroma Conclave , so a player needs to look that up if they don't know, and decide how much/little they may know, and what - if any - experience they had on the edges of that situation. I call out those details in Bold Italics so players know they are things to make sure they're up to speed on. Googling these terms should bring a cornucopia of data to pick and choose from. 4) Shared World. This game is one of three concurrent games I run in this setting. Events from one can and have affected the other two, and likely will again. Some of the crews have even met in rare crossover sessions! 5) The above-mentioned stroke recovery CAN mean missing a session on short notice. That hasn't happened in months, but I'd be a fool to discount the possibility. It also means I type slower, with a few more typos. Text is a slow medium, and we all accept or even prefer it, but I'm a bit slower than that. 6) Also the usual disclaimer: All my games AND my discord server to support the games are as inclusive as possible. Anyone with an issue with that should find elsewhere to be. If all that hasn't turned you away, LMK with a DM. I'm happy to further discuss The Brass Dragon Circus and Traveling Sideshow .
