Tokens Not Changing Layers Correctly

This issue is tricky because I haven't found a good repro yet.  That said, I've noticed that sometimes when I use the "right click + change layer" option for the tokens to try to send tokens to the GM layer, the tokens will sometimes not move correctly and just "get stuck" on the token layer.  I'll keep exploring to try to find good repro steps, but I wanted to make the devs aware. This also happens in reverse when I'm trying to move tokens from the GM layer to the token layer.  I'll highlight a bunch of tokens (click and drag to select then right-click plus change layer option) and some of the tokens will get "stuck" on the GM layer refusing to change layers no matter how many times I attempt to use that command.  The only seeming way to work around it is to delete that token and drag a new version of it on. I've seen this on Chrome using Jumpgate.
Is your game legacy or Jumpgate? This exact thing happened to me in last night's game, using Jumpgate. I "unstuck" the token by temporarily switching my view to a different map page then back again. i tried this because this often works for me when I end up with "ghost" tokens or other VTT oddities. I also use Chrome. One of my players uses Firefox, and he (as a player) experiences more lockups and ghost tokens than I do which makes me even less inclined to use it.

I haven't run into that exact problem, but I have definitely run into issues where a screen refresh was required to get the interface up to speed. Usually a page switch does it, but sometimes it actually requires a refresh of the entire game.

And that's the weird thing, this is the first issue I had where a refresh didn't fix the token's state. The only thing I could do was delete the token and pull out a new copy of it.  I tried switching to a different map then back again, but the token still wouldn't move to the GM layer. I noticed this issue ever since they introduced that new layer.  I've also noticed that the token markers are sometimes moving to the back of the tokens during play.

What browser are you using? I haven't seen either of those issues, particularly the latter.
I use chrome, and I noticed it happening more when I'd copy/paste a group of tokens into the GM layer and tried to mass move them to the token layer.  I'll see if I can find better repro steps. Oh, another thing...I'd do this between maps.  So I'd copy on one map then paste the tokens into another map on the GM layer.

I always use the keyboard shortcuts for this ('L'+ layer-key; e.g. ''K' for GM-layer) and never ran into this issue. Keyboards-shortcuts need to be enabled in the tab with gear-icon for this. Probably this works for you as well. One word of warning: currently this doesn't work for the new foreground-layer in Jumpgate.
I've had similar issues. Where tokens get stuck on a layer, and only refreshing the entire browser seems to fix it.
Just wanted to add in that I have also upgrade my game to Jumpgate recently and have continuously experienced this issue and was coming to post about it. It happens more often when I'm selecting groups of tokens and about 1/2 make it to the proper layer while the other half are 'stuck', my players also report this and we usually have to refresh the page to resolve the issue. Rarely if I solo select one of the tokens that failed to jump to the other layer it will allow me to do so, 8/10 we all have to refresh. Using Chrome, up to date, only happened after making the switch to Jumpgate. Only once have I had to completely delete and remake a token to resolve the issue. Thanks for posting.
