Loot and Encounter Generator

While the title mentions two things, it would be useful if roll20 had a way to generate resources based on the information in your compendium.  For example, a magical item generator/table or a treasure generator to quickly figure out appropriate rewards for a random encounter you just had.  There are similar tools for this on the internet already, but none that use resources from all the books.  I'd love a tool that takes all my roll20 books into account and generates items on a table based on what sources I own so I can quickly roll for look after running a random encounter. Donjon has a great tool that I use for quickly generating a lot of different resources.  I won't post the link here, but you can google it fairly easily as a reference for what sort of tools I'd like (treasure, magical items, encounters, wild magic surges, etc...)  This would also give the books in the compendium more value, which might encourage people to buy them.

For D&D 5e, I've also been using Donjon's tools. Kassoon.com is another source for encounter and treasure generators and they let you select which resources their generators to pick from. Edit: Since Roll20 is a VTT that can be used for many different game systems, I doubt that they would natively incorporate something like this that's specific to only one game (even though D&D is the 800 lb. gorilla of RPGs). Then again, I look at the resources that they're dedicating to the new  D&D character sheet. <shrug> You never know. You have my vote.

I think some of this exists already...  It would be in Modules or Add-Ons, and would install as Rollable Tables into your game. Potentially with Macros designed to roll the output of those Rollable Tables.  Anyone know which Roll20 Marketplace products have this? Do any of the WotC products provide this, like maybe Xanther's Guide To Everything?  I understand the Suggestion is going for a larger integrated approach, I just wanted to let you know how it is most-likely to be approached currently.

If it exists, I hadn't seen it or don't know about it.  I'll have to see if it's worth pulling some of these tables. As you said though, I'm looking for something a bit more inclusive that would draw from all my magical items from all my books.

for example if you purchase and install the D&D 5e 2014 Dungeon Master's Guide Add-On, you get the Rollable Tables and Macro for generating a random magic item: Like this,  And if it follows your Suggestion it could be much better and more powerful, Like DM Raven was saying.
