Option for textbox

Problem I often make notes about the game on a page, or even on the map. There are apps for this, but I like having it all in one place. However, I must often make white squares behind the text for legibility, especially there is a map under text. It makes it a bit messy. Make a square, edit the colours, push it behind the text,  ...later change the size of the square when I made changes to the text. ...whenever I move things around I must drag both text+background Solution: It would be cool if I could add background colour to the text, making a sort-of text-box. Like the picture below
I upvoted this! Currently, I just change the text color to something that contrasts with the background, but being able to add a background color to the text box would  greatly improve visibility.

I like this feature idea. I am  using Legacy and sometimes use token nameplates (on the GM layer) for this - Jumpgate has no white background for token nameplates. Not great, but eh it sort of works.
Yes please. +1 It would also be nice if the text boxes wold not snap to grid by default.  And somehow, i find it very hard to modify an existing text's font, size and color. Is it just me?

Don't try to select the text, instead select the text box itself, then use the edit box that appears at the upper left of the screen. You're editing the text box properties, not the properties of the text that's why you can't have different fonts or colors within the same text box. The text tool is an object editor, not  a text editor).
