Questions on mobile app

Asking here because someone decided to hide the general fourms or they don't exist (seems like a oversight) but to the point I been using my phone as it's all I have at the moment, how functional and easy is it to use on the phone? I'm having difficulty finding information on it or videos of people using and reviewing it

The Roll20 app hasn’t been updated in several years, and I’ve seen recent complaints from people trying to use it on current D&D games. I’ve never had a use case for it, because it is intended for folks playing at a table who want to use Roll20 character sheets instead of paper & dice.

along with what Andrew is saying, Roll20 VTT (the main thing here) isn't made for mobile, i mean it miiiight work on some devices and resolutions in your mobile browser app, but essentially the answer is "nonfunctional". Sometimes works on tablets. Mainly made for computer browser. There are some mobile functions (like using a mobile to roll the dice while playing in-person games; and accessing your Character), but not the full game experience. Here is a Help page that says (and has said for long-term) that Tablet support is undergoing maintenance, and that's tablets not phones, https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037774593-Table-on-Tablet
My players have found the Roll20 mobile app to be useful for the 2014 D&D 5E sheet, because it allows them to roll their PC skills, attacks, etc., without having to have their sheet open on their computer, leaving more room for the map. Unfortunately, it has not been updated to work with the new D&D 2024 sheet as far as I know.

When playing (using the D&D 5E for Roll20 (2014) sheet), I usually have my character sheet minimized because I've created macros for my most used attacks and skill checks. Also, since you have a pro account, you could use the TokenActionMaker MOD to create token actions for them ( You or they could create macros and token actions manually , but the MOD does it faster). My groups don't need to open their sheets most of the time, they have macros for that. Alternately, you can pop the sheets out and switch to them as needed.
