The biggest argument for this feature is WIZARDS. They are working on perfecting their own 2D VTT and though it currently does not look great, they will eventually get it properly up and running. They are certainly looking at Roll20 for ideas. That means eventually, they will become as good as Roll20. They are even adding in other game systems now. The absolute biggest advantage DnDB has over Roll20 is the custom creation of monsters, items, classes, races and such that can be universally added to games. If ROLL20 does not find a method to offer the same option, then the shelf-life of this VTT is limited by the speed in which DnDB can refine their VTT. Now, I personally prefer ROLL20 over all other VTTs currently, and I own an absolute ton of content here. I don't wish to envision a time when Roll20 could suffer financially as a result of Wizards and DnDB. So a C ustom Compendium is an absolute must. Maybe the developers see what is coming already and are working on it, but if not, they 100% need to start. And make it a priority. If you get it don before DnDB is finished, you can add a lot more of their people here.
