1 Player can see all of the map , regardless of what the settings are, Please Help.

Good Evening, ever since transitioning to jump gate. One of my players Line of Sight doesn't work. He can see all of the map. He is a druid and I changed his settings so he could control his animals. I then removed that thinking that was the problem. Its really ruining my games. All the other players see dynamic lighting perfectly fine and its restricted but just for his character he can see everything. It happened when I changed over to Jump Gate. Any solutions?

Hi Hollis M.,  If you'd like I can come take a look at the settings to verify that they are set correctly and are not the problem. If so, please PM me an invite to your game. Assuming the settings are correct, what is the browser, version number, and device they are using?

All the settings are correct for all of his tokens, the dynamic lighting page etc.. The only thing I can figure out is that he recently reinstalled his Mac Device and is using Safari. This only started happening when we changed to jump gate and he reinstalled his Mac and started using Safari. I have another player who solely uses a MAC and is using Firefox as his browser.
Client side settings can get around dynamic lighting. I have known errors in graphics cards to reveal map areas.
Not saying Safari is the cause of this issue, but t here's a warning that pops up each time you log in to a Roll20 game with Safari. "Unsupported Browser. Looks like your web browser isn't fully supported..." etc. Your players should use a supported browser (Firefox, Chrome). Safari is my preferred browser too but it just does not play well with Roll20.
There should be an in-game option that the GM can select to  prevent  unsupported browsers from being used in their game. I get this issue with Mac users too. They default to using the default browser, not knowing any better. This needs to be prevented; a warning message to people like this tends to be disregarded like all other warning messages. People just don't read and understand these kinds of messages.
A nag screen or banner that does not go away. It wouldn't really interfere with visibility, but an annoyance that's hard to ignore. Then my suggestion would be to ask him to use Chrome or Firefox, the two supported browsers.

Not that they won't work. A lot of users use different browsers without issue for many reasons: better performance, better privacy, better integration with their workflow. Roll20 won't take that away from them. I would suggest asking the player who can see everything to try a different browser and see if the issue continues for them. Then it can be pinned down to Safari. It's more likely the issue is caused by something that block JavaScript execution client side, a miscommunication, or a settings error somewhere. It's unlikely Safari/Mac is the root cause—there are enough people who use that combo that it would be a well-known and established issue. It could contrinute to the issue though, and is worth investigating as outlined above. *They sometimes do address egregious problems on unsupported browsers, they just don't guarantee they will.
Yeah so I had the player change their browser and that worked so it was a issue on Mac with Safari browser

In my tests, Explorable Darkness and general dynamic lighting worked as expected on Mac/Safari. Admittedly, the performance was not great, but there were no unexpected reveals. I suspect a plug-in or setting was interfering.
