You may have Daylight mode turned on. Adjust that under the Page Settings if you want to use Light Sources instead of overall sunlight.  You also seem to have some strangely positioned Dynamic Lighting Walls in the 2nd screenshot, like maybe the position of your Walls got accidentally shifted? Did you draw the DL walls yourself? You might want to check that your DL Walls adhere to/near the actual walls pictured in your map.

That are is supposed to be rooftop view, and seen from street level, so those on the street can only see the first few feet of whats on top of the roof .
By freehand do you mean using the line tool or with the freehand drawing tool? Drawing dynamic lighting barriers with that freehand tool is known to cause problems. It's supposed to be disabled for use on the lighting layer.

That's interesting, freehand drawing is supposed to be Disabled on Dynamic Lighting layer. If you really mean the freehand drawing tool?  Use the Pen (Line) tool, not freehand drawing for walls. The reason is freehand is composed of so many tiny points and angles it is too much for Dynamic Lighting to calculate the shadows.  It's likely or quite possible that freehand walls are the source of any/all issues you're having with DL. So I would say just re-do your walls with the Pen tool, and erase the freehanded DL walls.
i'll check that ty
