Graphic Based Character Sheet

In keeping with the intuitive, user friendly nature of Roll20, I suggest an alternate approach to building character sheets. Not the easiest to implement I'm sure, but I think it would pay dividends and really dress up the game experience. Allow a gm to import a image graphic (jpg, png, etc) , most likely an electronic character sheet from a favorite system. Using the graphic as a static backdrop, allow either text or number widgets to be dragged onto the graphic The coding would remember the x/y location of the widget on the graphic, and perhaps a tagged name for the widget to incorporate api functionality The result would appear as a form fill-able electronic version of professionally designed character sheet without the need for users to hard code the css While great folks are putting together character sheets for a number of settings, as new systems come out or users want tailored experiences this may be unsustainable. Also, it would help avoid a gap in Roll20 experience between those who can code and those who can't. I believe this plagues similar products and I'd like to avoid that here.

I actually created this some time ago: WYSIWYG Character Sheet Creator . I also made a thread about it in the character sheets forum. You should not use my tool to create something for the character sheets repository, but you can certainly use it to make a custom sheet for your campaign.
