DM/GM Pause Button

I am not sure if this has been asked before. I am guessing it has but could not find topic in search.  I am wondering if there is a current DM/GM option to pause the game so characters/players can't do anything? A button where the DM/GM can pause the game on and off as needed. Is there something currently or could we get this developed? Thank you
By "pausing" the game, do you mean lock the player's tokens so they can't be moved? You can already group-select the tokens, right-click, and select "Lock Placement". (Do the same again to unlock them).  Also, you can move the player ribbon to another page, such as the game's Start Page or another static scene. Neither of these will prevent the players from opening their character sheets or any handouts they have access to, but it will prevent them from wandering around a map page.

What problem do you have that a Pause button would solve? Since you’re a Pro subscriber, the Mods (API) are probably your solution. The MetaScript Toolbox and TokenMod, for example.

"Pausing" is a feature of the Foundry VTT which basically means locking tokens in place so that the board cannot be interacted with. Roll20 doesn't have the same sort of paradigm, but there are ways to simulate this. 1. Easy: Move the Player flag to a new map. 2. Moderate difficulty. Create a character that everyone has access to, so that it can be selected. Make the token art an invisible png. (Search the wiki for an example). Make sure it is large enough to cover the play surface, has vision, and is sent to the front. Lock it. Now players can only select that frontmost token, which they control, but is locked in place. This could likely be automated with the scripts Token-mod and spawnDefaultToken.
