Salutations, I appreciate the potential interest in my post! My friends call me Jay. I’m a 30-year-old programmer who has been running tabletop games for over a decade with 1,000+ hours on Roll20 alone. I’ve ran countless campaigns across a wide range of systems, platforms, and tables. Most recently, my homebrew D&D 5e game came to end due to schedule constraints. While I unfortunately no longer have the time to build expansive homebrew worlds or fully commit to running another game, the itch to roleplay with like-minded individuals is very much still alive. I’m fairly experienced with Roll20, although I may not be up-to-date with the latest features added within the past year. I own a good number of digital 5e products on the platform, but also have a large collection of other systems at home. I consider myself system-agnostic and open to exploring new ones. Lately, I’ve been dipping my toes into PF2E - but I wouldn’t call myself an expert just yet. I have equal interest in fantasy and sci-fi games alike, but most my experience has been in fantasy. Ultimately, my main passion lies in meaningful roleplay and deep narrative interactions. However, I still enjoy challenging combat and clever puzzles, but storytelling and character development are where I thrive. I’m most comfortable communicating through Discord, though I’m flexible and willing to adapt to other platforms for the right group or game. As a player, I’m versatile, team-orientated, and happy to fill various roles. I do have a soft spot for rogue-type characters, but I’m more than willing to adapt to whatever best fits the group’s needs. I stay in character throughout most sessions and come to the table invested and ready to engage. While there are the occasional gaps in my rules knowledge, I strive to be a reliable, respectful, and a collaborative player. I also make a point to give notice in advance if I ever need to miss a session. I’ve been browsing the LFG listings, but figured I’d also send this out into the digital void in case there’s a group out there looking for a player or collaborator like me. I may even have a long-time friend and fellow player who’d be interested in joining as well—someone with a similar background, playstyle, and schedule to mine. Thank you for reading if you have made it this far, excited to see what potential may come. Would love to hear from you and may your rolls have many natural twenties in your future! ~ Jay
