Persistence of the Turn Order

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question or if this feature already exists and I am doing something incorrectly. Here goes - in my current campaign, I split up a large map of a forest into several smaller maps. This improved the load times and seemed to eliminate some of the issues that the huge map was causing for some players. In doing so, however, I noticed that when I move the characters from map to map, the turn order resets or disappear for some of the players. At the very least, the turn order I see seems to be different from what the players are seeing. My question is does a way exist for the turn order to remain persistent through a series of maps? Or am I setting this up incorrectly? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
The turn order looks different for you because the GM sees the initiative for all tokens, regardless of layer or pages (map), while the players only see the initiative for tokens on the object layer of the page where their token is active. i don't know of any API script that would let your player's initiatives stay visible after switching maps.

Hi Anthony S.,  What Rick said is accurate.  However, I am curious about the setup you are using to necessitate splitting the map across different pages. Would you mind letting me come take a look? I might be able to offer some advice to help performance without splitting it into several pages.

There is an API that lets you save and load turnorders, but it's not automatic, and IMHO, more hassle than it's worth. Rick has correctly described the behavior. It's quirky, but really the only way to handle splitting the party, yet still maintaining a master turn order.
