For Dynamic Lighting, is there a way to make the barriers themselves transparent?

Here's the current workaround I'm doing: This lets me show players that their vision is being obstructed by a wall, rather than something else. Since this would only work one way if I used "wall" barriers placed behind the wall, I instead make these "fake" barriers composed of transparent barriers in a rectangle so players can see the texture of the wall from both sides. But...if the line of the "wall" barrier itself could just be set to transparent, I could avoid doing this weird workaround. Currently I'm just doing a lot of slow copy-pasting, and I see no further way to do this faster. Any suggestions?
I usually just set the weight of the line to "small" so that half of the wall texture is visible from one side or the other. How would setting the barrier to be transparent keep the players from seeing what's beyond the wall? I guess I'm not visualizing what you mean by "if the line of   the "wall" barrier itself could just be set to transparent"

Hi Ambrosinae,  Based on your screenshot I think an adjustment to your process might be in order. Instead of putting the DL lines on the outside of the wall place a single line through the middle of the wall. This allows folks to see the wall.  You won't need to use 1 way lines at that point.

Gauss is describing the standard practice used by the Roll20 team during the conversion of modules.
Ahh, yeah, I tried that but I feel like sometimes the wall is a bit thin and doesn't lend itself well toward putting a line in the middle? As an example of the effect my weird method achieves, I've attached some more screenshots: I could do a tighter job but I got kinda fatigued by copy-pasting haha. But hopefully you can see what I mean by making the barrier itself transparent, like if you imagine setting the line width to "extra thick" and then drawing over (most of) the wall, and then the line itself is visible so that the texture underneath the line is visible but anything past that line is not. Even if the line wasn't drawn perfectly, it would still be an easy way to reveal more of the wall compared to the normal method of drawing a very thin line through it?

Given the varying thickness of walls, even within a single map, And the fact that you would need to apply the same system to doors, I think the only way to achieving what you seek is your technique in your initial post.
Hmm alright, thanks! Was just wondering, new to dynamic lighting and just having Plus haha.
