Add a way to exclude a game from automatically being placed Cold Storage

Score + 9
To help keep the information in my game manageable, I currently use a "Library" game where I store maps, custom NPCs and handouts to which I don't need immediate access. However, several times when I've wanted to Transmogrify assets to "Library" I got the notice that it is unavailable because it has been placed in "cold storage". Retrieving that game from cold storage isn't difficult, but it breaks my workflow and, honestly, is just annoying. Lately, I've needed to open my "Library" at least once a week to keep it from being placed in  cold storage . I propose a setting or toggle, probably under "Game Settings", where a game can be designated never to be automatically placed in cold storage. The number of games that could be set this way could be limited to prevent users from making all of their games immune to archiving.

That's interesting. I believe the target time-period used to be.... 3 months. After 3 months of the Creator/GM not hitting "Launch Game" then it would go into Cold Storage automatically. Which is also the same period that is the maximum future-date that you can set a Next Game Date and have that game still appear in LFG.  I checked and the Help Center does not designate a time period. It just says 'after a while'.  I'll give you a +1 to help, but I really think that sounds like a Bug to report to Help Center if you really have games going into Cold Storage that you had launched only 1 week prior.
Thanks for the +1 :) That 3-month time period feels like it used to be about right, but the timeframe has certainly gotten shorter lately. I'm in my game setting up encounters, adding maps and generally tweaking things at least once a week and get the cold storage warning all the time. I'm currently the creator of 7 games: my "live" game (+ a backup), a library game (+ a backup) , a temporary game that I'm using for designing the final boss encounter in my live game, a game that I'm prepping for after the completion of my current campaign, and a game for trying out new add-ons and modules. I have a Trail of Cthulhu campaign that we play roughly monthly, and both my Library game & Active game were in cold storage when I started preparing the session on Saturday. So I think the period is roughly 1 month now. I think if a game has a scheduled time it shouldn’t be put in cold storage, at least.  So I’m voting for your suggestion!
