Anyone using this 1E Character Sheet?

Is anyone currently using this 1E Character sheet on a regular basis?

Yes! I run two games with it. I've written a ton of ScriptCards code for it. The sheet is great, Vince did a great job. Happy to help if you've got questions. ~D

I run it in all my games. I would probably leave roll20 without it. To me, if you run 1e, you should be using this sheet. The author has spent ;lots of his own time without compensation. Furthermore, he has gone out of his way not only to automate the sheet, but to put in features that everyone wants. People just have to ask. I can't imagine even someone being paid to be as dedicated or helpful.

Hi Gonzalo, If you OR ANYONE have questions about the sheet, this forum is a great spot to post.&nbsp; I'm always curious to know how other's actually utilize the sheet as well.&nbsp; I've tried to make the sheet as intuitive as possible but nailing down 1e's nuances can be difficult.&nbsp; Hovering over various field/labels will often give a little info about the attribute and/or function.&nbsp; Adding more info to roll20's wiki <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/ADnD_1st_Edition_Character_sheet" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/ADnD_1st_Edition_Character_sheet</a> is on my to-do list. We've used the sheet since 2020 before Jumpstart and found it to be great. That 1e campaign has been paused for a while now and I've started one as a DM under Jumpstart and friends &amp; I really like it as well. Thanks to Vince for all the work he's done. -- Tim

Hey Vince, using your sheet regularly now.&nbsp; Love it.&nbsp; But it is still hard to find things quickly. What I mean is all the sections look alike, and if I'm looking for NWP or Weapons, it can sometimes get lost in the mix of other info. Could you color-code the sections?&nbsp; Or even just alternately shade each section with a background color?

Hi Namocaw, I agree that things kind of blend together in a long vertical scroll.&nbsp; Colorizing sections can be tricky because everyone has an opinion. lol You also have to consider background options and darkmode, so it's often a little more complicated than just throwing some background color here and there.&nbsp; I'm definitely not opposed to the idea and will give it some thought.&nbsp; I've also kicked the idea around of possibly adding section tabs/navigation.&nbsp;&nbsp;

I apologize if this was addressed earlier in the thread, if so just tell me and I'll look back to find it... how is weapon vs armor type bonus/penalty used on this sheet? I don't see it.&nbsp; Vince - thank you for your countless hours working on this sheet. People like you make the world a better place. HL

Hi HL Keeper, if you expand a weapon (gear icon, top left of the weapon entry), you can enter adjustments vs armor type.&nbsp; You can also post the information to chat with the attack roll. The sheet simply posts the data. It doesn't adjust the hit table data or THAC0, and does not make any determination if the attack is successful. DM makes that call. ;-) example; or with "auto-roll damage" enabled &nbsp; Some users have done MUCH more automation with the sheet and attacks by leveraging API scripts (ie scriptcards, tokenmod, etc.) DaemonSlye has a complete suite of scripts that take this sheet to a whole other level(s). lol

FYI: I have a small update this week related to posting the to-hit table with an attack.&nbsp; I noticed if an attack was created using the +Add button from Equipment, the default of showing the hit data was not enabled without fidfling with the show hit dropdown. Not the end of the world, but it could be confusing if the table data wasn't showing by default(as it does when creating an attack directly inside the attacks section).
