[LFDM] [5E] [21+] Group of five players looking for a game.

Game: D&D 5e 2014 edition or 2024 rules (homebrew story if you want) Group preferred: Online - Discord for Voice. Roll20 for Game. (open to other websites) Experience: ranging from experienced to newer Location/Timezone: MST/CST/EST Availability: Friday nights or weekends  Game style: Group of friends seeking a fun fantasy experience. long-term story-driven  campaign. (60 rp/ 40 combat) We are a group of 4-5 players, ages in the 20s, looking for a DM to start a campaign. All of us have played dnd before, and the more experienced players can help the newer ones with character creation and basic rules.  We're very open to a homebrew campaign; however, we would like to keep fantasy if possible. If you have an Idea you have been wanting to try, that's not fantasy, I'm sure we can talk it out with everyone and give it a shot. The amount of experience you have as a DM is not an issue to us, so if you're a starter DM, feel free to message us.
Hey, I'd be interested in trying this with your group. I'd be available once a week to play, however, I do a homebrew based on 5th edition that is 90% fantasy, 10% other.
I've got a 110% homebrewed world and have rewritten the classes; would you be willing to go "more homebrew" or are you looking for straight rules-as-written? My world's easy to pick up; it's been going on 4 years now. I'm  hervisjasper  on Discord if you're willing to give it a shot.

Hey there! I have Been DMing for a few years, I'm not very good with improv but what I worldbuild and the effort I put into the game make up for that I believe. I am on EST and I have a homebrew game that goes by 5e rules. here is the bio of it from my profile -  The Dying Domain A high-detail, story-driven D&D campaign set in a world where gods rot, dragons lie, and cities drown beneath their own secrets and motives. What to Expect: • Hundreds of fully illustrated maps (city districts, dungeons, sewers, and ruins) • Personalized NPC profiles with portraits, quirks, and motives • Atmospheric handouts styled like in-world journals or decrees • Deep moral choices and hidden connections across the city • Real consequences — alliances, betrayals, and the creeping influence of something alien below • Animated tokens for spells and select enemies Tone & Themes: Gothic fantasy • dark mystery • political intrigue • moral corruption • beauty in decay Playstyle: Semi-sandbox narrative with guided arcs. Roleplay-heavy, with emphasis on lore, sensory storytelling, and character-driven decisions. You begin in a place called The Hungover Hammer — a modest midway tavern tucked between war, rumor, and decay. Outside its door lies an entire kingdom unraveling: cities at war, gods in hiding, and a sickness that eats through the faithful and the forgotten alike. The world is open. Where you go and who you become depends entirely on you. Explore swamps, haunted farmlands, drowned catacombs, or noble keeps built atop secrets. Encounter hundreds of illustrated NPCs, read real in-world journals, and uncover a history of divine rot and political betrayal as random events unfold around you. Every choice matters, every ally has motives, and every candle eventually burns out.
If your group is interested in adventuring in Tomb of Annihilation I would love to prep a slot for you all. I use animated maps, talespire encounters here n there as long as your setups can handle it or we stream a bit... ..., mostly roll20 but make vids of the adventure/ upcoming events on discord. I currently run 2014 rules but use a few 2024 rules like the surprise... Iove it much moooore! Let me know if you would like to chat to see if we work for each other!
