2014 question about character sheet

Hello! In a campaign that still uses 2014 rules, so my question is about that system. My barbarian has a Cloak of Protection which, among other things, has a +1 bonus to saving throws. But I can't get that +1 to saving throws to register. Is there a way to add an item so that such bonuses show up automatically? I'm fairly new to Roll20, so I can't make it work. Thanks for any help :)
When you drag and drop the cloak from the compendium, it should have all the modifiers pre-set and if the item is checked as "equipped" in the inventory then the modifiers will apply. If for some reason that didn't happen, here is how you can add it in: You can click in the MODS: section and copy/paste the contents into Notepad or any other plain text editor to edit it: then copy back into the MODS line.

Great, thanks!
The compendiums are the game rule books used for your game. Since you say that you're using the 2014 character sheet, I'm going to assume that you mean the D&D 5E By Roll20 (2014) character sheet. (There are hundreds of different game systems being played on Roll20 other than D&D :) ) If that's true, then unless you've purchased other compendiums (like the Player's Handbook, Dungeonmaster's Guide, Monster Manual, etc.) then when you created your D&D 5E game you automatically got the SRD (System Reference document) for D&D 2014 and D&D 2024, which are the Free Basic Rules sets for D&D. You can access items like spells and magic items through the compendium tab in the game (the tab with the icon that's supposed to look like books on a shelf - the fourth from the end. Typing what you're looking for in the search field will call it up (spelling matters!) then you can drag-and drop the item onto the character sheet. The Roll20 Wiki has more information about how to use the VTT, and there a loads of YouTube videos with tutorials. If you're purchased other compendiums, you can turn them on for your game through Game Settings, which can be accessed from your game's home page:
