Right now, the lack of an easy, convenient way to organize and review purchased or free assets is creating a major pain point for its most active user base. When a library becomes too cluttered and difficult to navigate, the incentive to buy new content drops significantly. GMs will simply stop purchasing new items if they feel they can't easily find or use what they already own. Looking for a specific asset becomes a chore. To prevent this loss of marketplace revenue and improve the active user experience, I strongly suggest that Roll20 focuses on catering to its most valuable user base: the Game Masters. While players make up the majority of the user count, they typically don't purchase marketplace assets or spend nearly as much time on the site. It is the GMs, the active minority, who spend hours prepping games, buying modules, and maintaining subscriptions. Furthermore, GMs are the ones who bring entire groups of players to the Roll20 platform. By investing in better organization tools for GMs, you remove the friction to buy and ensure your most profitable users keep investing in the platform. In fact, by catering to the needs of the GMs, you ensure a broadening of GMs going forward which will keep Roll20 at the forefront of the VTT gaming sector.
