Whispers to or from players - Move Obvious?

Score + 6
So there are times as the DM that I would like to whisper a player something about the game or maybe a question.  Example:  They notice something that the others do not and I want to whisper to them to let them know.    Right now, with things going by so fast in chat due to rolls or other things happening in the game, those whispers get missed more times than not. Is there any way to make them more obvious?   I would love it if there was some way to have it do a popup on their screen, or give them some sort of more obvious notification. Has anyone come up with a better way than the default? Any APIs that tackle this? Thank you in advance
I like this idea a lot. Having the whisper appear in an on-screen popup as well as in the chat record would be ideal. Currently, I announce to everyone to look in the chat for a whisper; that doesn't tell the who the whisper was for but does alert all the players that something is going on. Since we use Discord for voice while we play, I've tried posting the whispers to the private text channels that I set up for each player, but the pings don't always get noticed among all the other game chatter.

Exactly the same here... Discord pings are easy to miss and it would be nice to be able to keep certain things private from the rest of the party.   To be honest, I am a bit surprised that no one has discussed this in the past.
+1, I, too, have to speak up to get players to look at Chat, since we only use it normally for dice rolls, and that clearly signal's "something's up". I also miss chats sent to me, since I'm busy doing other tasks as DM. If it could play some kind of audible alert, or flash the right sidebar on the target's screen, that would be a real plus (maybe both, and let people enable/disable what works for them).
