I am honestly curious on what your expectation for how a Rick n Morty DnD thing would play out. I have a  Rick and Morty D&D comic book. But the cartoon and comics, and whatever have writers who have time to think of all the jokes and all the themes ahead of time. would people actually being playing characters from the show?

From the live playthroughs I've seen online, it looks like we can play both a character and one of our own, but it's a fully functional tabletop game. I plan on getting all the comics too; I was just hoping someone has it now so I can get a feel for the game.
