Wizard - Evoker - Empowered Evocation - Over Applied

I am playing a Wizard - Evoker and i am finding that when i trigger something like magic missle at level 5.  It is adding the additional damage on every missle and not just the first missle.  Is there a better way other than turning it off and just adding it manually?

There are over 1000 character sheets across 300+ game systems. D&D 5e alone has over a dozen character sheets on Roll20.
