Based on popular community requests, we have updated the campaign-level default settings for the display size and appearance of Map Pin nameplates while zooming to help with readability and reducing visual clutter.  Going forward, all campaigns (where these settings have not been previously changed) will, by default, be set up so that Map Pin nameplates:  maintain size while zooming appear on hover when the page is zoomed out  These settings can be updated at any time in VTT Settings > VTT Graphics > Graphics Display in the Map Pin Nameplates section.  Want to see the new settings in action? Curse of Strahd was just reVamped (hehe) to include Map Pins, the Foreground Layer, automated traps, upgraded Character Sheets, a digital reader, and more. If you own the original, the update is already in your library! Read more about the update on our blog .  See full details about all of today’s releases in our Change Log .

Maybe this is the place to ask, we recently bought the Spelljammer module for D&D while the map pins were still in Beta. While in Beta, the Rock of Bral map had TONS of helpful map pins, but since the Beta has ended, I can't find them anywhere. I've created new games and looked as far as I know how. Could you help out, where did they go?

AFAIK, Curse of Strahd is the first module to use Map Pins. Roll20 would not have put out a module using a feature that was still in Beta. And Spelljammer: Adventures in Space was released in 2022, preceding the introduction of Map Pins by several years. Can you link to the Spelljammer module in question? Was it a third party product?

When I first started the module, all poi's on the Rock of Bral map were fully pinned and detailed, even the artwork in the pins from the book. Since the release, I can't get them to come back up.

I'm not sure what you saw, but I worked on that module. It was published long before Map Pins existed. I unfroze my copy, made shortly after release. I see the labels for the various areas of the Rock of Bral (on the GM layer), but I can't explain what you are remembering. The technology just did not exist. If you look at the preview image of the map on the package, there are no map pins. Did you perhaps buy it on another platform as well as on Roll20?
