Map will not load + Chat will not scroll down properly.

The map will go past the loading screen, but that's about it. As for the text chat, it will not scroll down far enough as the bar disappears, preventing me from seeing the eight most recent lines of text. Cards also do not load. Problem seems to disappear if browser is switched to Chrome.

I'm getting the EXACT same bug. Unfortunately I can't switch to Chrome due to Chrome not working properly on my computer, so it's really screwed me over. It's affecting both campaigns I'm a part of, and it's only affecting me, not the other players, so I don't think this is campaign specific. (I'm not part of the same campaign as Beautiful Asian either.) I'm not the DM of either of those campaigns so I can't send a join link, but a while back I started a game just to test some things out, and sure enough it's affecting me there too. So I'll go ahead and PM you that join link just in case it helps you figure something out, though I'm not sure how exactly. Also, just to try and help track things down, I'm using Firefox 33.0 and am running Windows Xp Service Pack 3. I'm curious as to what operating system Beautiful Asian is running.

For myself, I disabled every extension/addon and I still got the issue.

Mad_Scientist , could you try a completely clean install of Firefox?

I had this same problem (it sounds like) in Firefox. The campaign works fine in Chrome. I had all FF addons disabled, I think, but did not go so far as a clean install before checking Chrome.

Charles , if you could try a clean install of Firefox that would help identify the problem.

I tried uninstalling Firefox, then reinstalling it, and it made no difference. Hmm.

Mad_Scientist , sorry that it isn't working for you. As Riley stated, this may just be a problem with the latest version of Firefox. Since it's latest update we have had a bunch of Firefox related bugs. I suggest switching to Chrome in the meantime.

The taller the window the more text is covered up (text log won't scroll. The shorter the window, less text is obscured. If I made the size of the window about 1/2 the height of the screen, the log can be scrolled down far enough as to not be obscured.

I just identified the rootcause of my problem. I just installed a brand new computer and the chat text box and scroll bar for the chat log worked perfectly. I then installed Symantec's Norton Internet Security (what windows computer today doesn't have antivirus installed?) and the chat text box and chat scroll stopped working properly. The text box started to obscure the bottom of the chat log, and as I reisize the window, the amount of obscurity changed. I then looked at my extensions, and the only extension I had was Norton's and googledocs. I disable norton's antivirus, then did a refresh, and everything started to work properly again. Re-enable nortons and did a refresh, and it stopped working. I guess when I use roll20, I'm going to have to disable Norton's extension, and reenable it afterwards. The antivirus "extension" is one that I normally don't think of as an extension, hence when I removed/disable extensions previously, I just didn't think about antivirus extensions as needing to be disabled.
