Linking pins to a handout no longer displays text

Having an issue with linking a pin to a handout I've written text about a location and every time I check the pin the pin thinks my public information I've written is GM only and the only way to fix it is to put the information in GM only. It seems there is a bug with the pins that makes it think that GM only is public and public is GM only.

Hi Vermillion,&nbsp; It seems like you are trying to let Roll20 know about this problem, if that is correct the best way to do so is via the Help Center as the bug report forum is primarily for community support.&nbsp; Help Center:&nbsp; <a href="https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/requests/new" rel="nofollow">https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/requests/new</a> With that said, I haven't seen this bug, I'll try to replicate it later.&nbsp; Edit: I was unable to replicate the issue. Could you provide steps to replicate it?&nbsp; Also, does this happen in other games?&nbsp;
I was able to fix the issue by unticking the box that says 'use blockquote as player flavour text'. This fixed the issue but I have no idea why it seems to hide your chat as I have no idea what a blockquote is.

Hi Vermillion! Blockquote is one of the styles in the first button drop-down on the styling bar when editing a handout or forum post. This is an example of a blackquote The convention was added because the overwhelming number of existing modules use blockquote style to indicate text to be read aloud to the players. This makes it extremely simple to drag map pins from such handouts onto the VTT. The player-visible text (blockquoted) is immediately made visible, while the rest of the material is visible only to the GM. Here is an example handout setup: If you would like to mass edit pin settings and a whole lot more, the PinTool script might be of some help.
Ahh ok I understand now and can see the convenience of it for those type of modules. Just a weird adjustment phase to untick the button from now on. keithcurtis said: Hi Vermillion! Buttons remember the settings of the last selected button, so if you select a properly set button, subsequent ones should have that setting. Also you can select many buttons at once while holding down the shift key while dragging. You can then set them all at one go with a script like PinTool, (although you can group apply visibility manually).
