Consideration for international keyboard layouts in forum posts?

I don't know if I should report this as a bug or not, but here goes. I use a Danish keyboard layout and whenever I try to use the "at" symbol in community forum posts, my font style changes to a larger point size and I still don't get the "at" symbol. Because of the Danish keyboard layout, I am obliged to use "alt gr" + "2" instead of "shift" + "2" to get the "at" symbol. The combination of "alt gr" and other numbers from the top row of the keyboard give me a variety of font point sizes, so I'm guessing that the key stroke combinations have something to do with heading styles. It's probably not a bug per se , because the issue arises out of my keyboard layout. However, the special characters on my physical keyboard are mapped to the DA layout, which is different than the EN layout. If I switch to EN, then those characters become hard to find - especially the bracket characters which are vital for coding character sheets, macros etc...
This post was created to demonstrate what happens when I try to get the "at" symbol on my DA keyboard layout.

This is a known issue with some websites (including ours). As a workaround: Alt+64 will give you @ <a href="http://alt-codes.org/list/" rel="nofollow">http://alt-codes.org/list/</a> Here are a couple of other related threads: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/217014/national-" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/217014/national-</a>... <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/488135/azerty-keyboards-and-forums-dot-dot-dot-issues#post-488464" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/488135/azerty-keyboards-and-forums-dot-dot-dot-issues#post-488464</a>
Thanks. Alt+64 is an easier workaround than switching from DA to EN everytime I want to get an @.
