New Player Looking for a Group - Never Played Before (MST)

Hi, I'd like to learn how to play dnd but I'm having trouble finding a group either due to time zones, my complete lack of experience, or just not getting a response. I know the basic concept, listened to playthroughs, and know people who play (they're not an option for various reasons). I've also played around with the character creator on here and have ideas for characters, I just need a group that's willing to take on someone who's never played before. I'm a quick learner, would prefer a group that's 18+, and I'm available on discord.  Weekends work best for me and my time zone is MST. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Heya, I'm a DM willing to handle new players, and I'm putting together a group to play in a homebrew setting wednesdays at 6pm us central time.
