Game : D&D 5e (2014) Group type : Online - Voice on Discord, VTT on D&D Beyond Location/Timezone : Central and BST Schedule : Every other Sunday - 9 AM to 1 PM Central | 3 PM to 7 PM BST - Time cannot be negotiated or changed Roles sought : 1-2 Players Game style : Homebrew World/Pantheon | High Fantasy | Heist - Multiple Arch type story Starting Level : 1 Copy/paste from dndbeyond because the forum there is being a bit wonky, so if there's any odd look to the post that's why. Story Blurb: Whether by luck, fate, coercion, or none of the above, our characters have found themselves recruited to do the impossible- break into Nhil's Great Crypt and steal the Eternal Circlet. The problem? This ragtag group of adventurers know nothing about it - or their mysterious patron. Oh - and the fact that the Great Crypt is the most heavily guarded place in all of... everywhere. Magical traps, fearsome enemies, and tests of companionship await. All this band knows is that for whatever their reason is, they have to pull this off. Will they? Big Information Section Below: Hi, I am Jam. I'm actually a player in this game, we are selectively seeking 1-2 other players to either make us a 4 or 5 party group. Session 0 has not be done, we have not picked out PC Species, Classes or Sub-classes as of yet. We are leaning more lighthearted/goofy with this in vibes. Shenanigans abound. This is not intended to be grimdark or heavily survival based though some elements may bleed in depending on role play. Other players: Jam (me) | I'm an avid note taker, professional meme-maker and artist ready to bring the good vibes. I do my best to pay attention to details while exploring the world we're in. Big team player, too. I generally play Clerics or Druids as I prefer playing healer types. Synth | Big fan of pretty much all aspects of 5e. In particular I enjoy picking through other players' characters, their hidden foibles and where they fit themselves into the campaign's world. Similarly, I enjoy social intrigue and generally find enjoyment in the lore and creation of campaigns (being a DM at heart). I don't mind a bit of combat and typically try to find ways to make the sometimes repetitive nature of things a little more interesting with 'off-meta' subclasses and character builds just to keep things interesting. I'm very much a party filler, picking up any holes in party composition where needed. Split | I like a lot of different things, but the big things I like are roleplaying characters and pulling the threads of story lines put before us. I like to see what the world has and holds and exploring stories and stuff. I really enjoy seeing what a DM has gotten up to and cooked up to bring their world to life. I like to dig at and uncover secrets in character stories and world story lines and digging through pulling at threads. I enjoy combat a lot too and usually will play whatever will best help round out the party. I am also the voice of reason with these weirdos. This is set up as being a Multiple Arch story, with Arch 1 being as below: Getting together, Gather info, allies, and items, Perilous Travel (montage and key moments), Heist time PC Starting Info: Do not know motivation(s) of benefactor. Benefactor wants us to get The Eternal Circlet - will not say why Journey will take us through the desert country of Voltaire, south through the ocean to the island of Nhil where the Great Crypt resides Signs posted on "Ye Ole Craig's List" over the land and we have been assembled to do this deed (robbing Great Crypt was not disclosed, just that the mission was to be dangerous) As payment for this extremely dangerous mission: 50,000 GP per Person Or payment in another form to be negotiated World Info/Vibes: Starting in Kingdom of Valentia, in a city on Lake Volta Country of Voltaire is if Skyrim was in a desert, recently colonized and very "every man for himself"; East of the mountain range is settled - typical European High Fantasy Vibes IMPORTANT: DM requires that our PC's have to have character motivation on why they wanna do a dangerous job in the first place as well as why they'd wanna work together with other strangers. Aka, please no lone wolves. This is all the info we've gotten together so far, if you have any questions I am more than happy to pass them along to our DM. Happy adventuring!
