Regarding the Ship Character Sheet, both of the d8 rolls for either Broadsides or Small Arms are broken and do not roll - Every other type of die (d4, d6 etc) work properly apart from d8's. I've looked at the Attributes & Abilities page of the sheet and its because they're both logged as [d8"], changing this to remove the " just results in the sheet defaulting to [None] and still not rolling.
