Token action tool bar - contains macro that I don’t know where they came from

Unusual problem - I have some some macros for rolls (that I don’t want or are wrong) appearing in the token action tool bar - and I can’t find where they have come from to get rid of them In particular I have a incorrect Initative macro and a bunch of fine but unwanted save macro. I have Gone through every macro in the macros section - and (a).  these “extra” are not there  (b) I have opened every macro and made sure that only the 4 macro that I do want are ticked i have also gone through every PC and NPC character sheet to try to find the “extra” macro - but no luck - it’s quite a new game so I don’t have all that much content in it so far, so I was able to check everything but no luck so far. question - does anyone have an idea where these “extra” macro might be coming from and how to get rid of them. ???????

Hi Martin R.,  What happens when you hold the Shift key down and click on them? There are three places macros can be (with a couple exceptions):  1) On a character 2) In your macros in the Collection Tab 3) In another GM's macros in the Collection Tab.  If you are unable to open them via Shift+Clicking on a macro then it is likely they are in another GM's macros.  Note: You can also add a character sheet command directly to the bottom bar by dragging it, but that doesn't apply to token actions afaik.

I’m on iPad at the moment so I’ll try the click shift later when back on computer The bottom row drag and drop actions are all fine - and it’s easy to get rid of those by dragging up and dropping so that’s not an issue. but as for the other 3 things you mentioned for the token action bar (at top of screen)……. There are three places macros can be:  1) On a character.                — they are not there.   I’ve check every character sheet and only ones there are the correct few 2) In your macros in the Collection Tab. …….. triple checked here and there are not there either 3) In another GM's macros in the Collection Tab. ……..I’m the only GM in the game.     And the saved are 3.5e’s Fort Reflex Will - so I kinda doubt they are randomly spilling over somehow from someone else’s game. i’ll try the click shift later - but I’m at a loss as to where the “extra” macro are coming from.  I’m playing Conan RPG - a 3.5e OGL game and the 3 fort / Reflex / Will saves are correct and pulling correctly from character sheets - but for added confusion - only some of the macro appear for some characters.  Some have a magic save for example and others dont ??????????

It is in theory possible that if you are using a module or addon the macros were created as part of that module or addon and the permissions are incorrectly applied so that you are unable to edit them.  Please let me know what happens with the Shift+Click test.

Gauss - i tried or had already tried all your suggestions, and Shift+click did nothing  ..... and they were not the cause, but your suggsetions helped me to isolate the possible cause i created a brand new blank game and the only thing i did was to create a character - and magically there were the 4 offending macro in the token action bar FORT, Reflex, initiative and WILL saves I used the Conan 2nd Edition character sheet.   (the came has been gathering dust on a shelf for20 years and i've finally convinced my group to try it out for our next campaign.  I'd gotten jaded of 5e.  Working well so far but i had to create a few good macro to simplify the dice rolling and maths. I never knew character sheets could auto create token action bar macro !!!! - kinda handy i suppose. Thanks for your help.   At least we learned something
It looks like you have already have your answer but FYI you can determine the source of a macro by executing it and then clicking on the chat box and hitting the up arrow key.  If the macro is from a character sheet it will have the format: %{CharacterName|Ability} if it is from a collection it will be #MacroName.
