Hey folks! I’m a 33-year-old experienced D&D player looking for an online game using D&D 5e 2024 rules . I’m in Central time and would ideally love a weeknight game or weekend morning game. I’m mostly trying to keep weekend evenings free, but there is a degree of flexibility for the right table. What I’m looking for: D&D 5e 2024 preferred Roll20 with battlemaps/tokens for combat LGBTQ+ friendly table Kind, communicative adults with good vibes Tactical combat, dungeon crawling, exploration, and hard-but-fair encounters Tier 2+ preferred, though I’m open to the right lower-level game One-shots, mini-campaigns, existing campaigns, or long-term games are all fine I’m very visual, so battlemaps/tokens/clear positioning are a big deal for me. Theater of the mind is hard for me to follow, especially in combat. A little about me as a player: I’m outgoing, friendly, and not a spotlight hog. I enjoy roleplay and character moments, but I’m not trying to turn every scene into my personal monologue. I like cheering on other players, making fun character choices, and laughing when things go sideways. I enjoy strategic gameplay and character builds with interesting mechanical interactions. I like optimization, but I’m not trying to break the game, argue with the DM, or ruin anyone’s good time. I just enjoy the puzzle of making something cool and effective. I know the rules well and won’t need hand-holding, though of course I still make mistakes like anyone else. I may occasionally ask about a rule if something seems missed, but I try to do that calmly and respectfully, and if it bothers the table I’ll stop. I’m comfortable with darker or mature story themes as long as everyone is normal and respectful about it. Dark fantasy is great. Weird table behavior is not. Mostly, I’m looking for a kind, funny, combat-loving table where people can communicate like adults, roll dice, fight scary monsters, make bad decisions in dark hallways, and have a good time. If that sounds like your table, I’d love to chat.
