couple looking for a group to join (uk)

Hi were a couple in our forties and are pretty new to DnD.  we would love to join a group who accept beginners.  we've played a few home games and absolutely love it but the people we are currently playing with don't have anywhere near the same enthusiasm. we know a little bit about 5.5e rules and have the books already. i've played a few games as a cleric and a few as a rogue. my husband has played a few games as the dm but would love to try his hand at a barbarian. we would be happy to join any group that we fit in but would prefer lgbtqia+  were on uk time so could do monday to thursdays 12pm until 4 or most weekday evenings 9pm -12, or weekends most times avoiding 4-8pm.  looking for 5.5e one shot or campaign fantasy with a mix of role play (with patience as were new lol) and battles. please ask if you any questions. we're eager to learn and we've never played online before. thanks 

Hey Eio! Have you considered trying out a West Marches styled system? You can post listings for games that work for your schedule and between games you can interact with other adventurers, NPCs, and our World of Aspirion via our text-based roleplaying system. We have over 150 members from all over america and europe, with even a few players in asia as well! Not to mention we have hosted over 1,000 sessions since we started last May. It might feel a little bit daunting but you can partake as much or as little as your comfort allows with zero external pressure to do more, although we'd love to see you both fall in love with the West Marches system the way we have!
