They tear through flesh and bone in seconds, then drag what remains to the castle gates and string it up as a warning. The vermin saw you watching. Now the crown guards hunts “foreign conspirators and sadistic murderers” matching your description. The rats are no ordinary plague- they carry secrets straight to the throne. Something fouler festers beneath the cobblestones, twisting nobles, guards, and the land itself. Uncover the source of the king’s unnatural use of the vermins.
